Title | Letter from George Arnott Walker Arnott, Arlary near Kinross, to Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward, Wellclose Square, London |
Date | 29 October 1835 |
Description | On [Robert] Wight's purpose in contacting the purchasers of his 'plants' publications. Wight's poor sub-division of plant specimens. Arnott never refuses plants and gives a brief summary of what he has. Suggests that should [Nathaniel] Wallich send plants to Ward from the Calcutta Botanical Gardens, he should welcome any duplicates. Relays news of both Wight and Wallich. Discusses other publications briefly, returning to problems with Wight's work. |
