DescriptionInforms that he has been directed by the Council of the Geological Society, which in turn had been asked to consider the proposal of appropriating Burlington House by the Scientific Societies of London, to forward him their resolution. The Council is 'anxious to cooperate cordially in this matter with the Council of the Royal Society, under the belief that the object desired by all the Societies will be attained by a joint action of mutual understanding.'
