DescriptionInforms the specific expenditures of the Royal Society in respect of the Circumpolar expedition out of the £1500 received. Informs that in addition a sum of £647 10s 9d is owed to Captain Dawson since his return, and that the further expenditures will probably amount to £500 before 31 March (making a total of £2630). Anticipates a sum of about £600 from the government of the dominion of Canada in respect of the travelling expenses of the expedition there and in the Hudson's bay territory. Informs that should it be necessary to print a detailed statement of the observations for the use of the International committee, a further sum would have to be added to the estimate here given of future expenses.
