Says that he has sent the parcel requested via astronomers who were stationed in Tiflis but were now on their way to Berlin, and from there would send the parcel to England. Describes the parcels as having specimens fastened in glass for immediate microscopical investigation, as well as a series of limestone fragments. Describe his stay and work in the Caucasus, and the weather there over the winter months.
