Title | Letter from H[enry] B[rougham] Guppy, 17 Woodlane, Falmouth, to [Henry Bowman Brady] |
Date | 8 December 1886 |
Description | Asks whether Brady would like the imbedded mollusca in the deposit (of which specimen 810 is a sample) examined, which it had never been, as it would at once settle the point of the recent character of this and similar deposits. Asks Brady to tell him to whom he had better send the shells, and whether by giving Brady's name they would be given more attention (as he had already had difficulties to get information on the matter). Reiterates the importance of the deposits and how they relate to the Solomon Islands. |
