TitleLetter from John Murray, Challenger Expedition Office, 32 Queen Street, Edinburgh, to [Henry Bowman] Brady
Date18 October 1886
DescriptionThanks Brady for the specimen from the Loyalty Islands and says he will have a section made for the microscope, which he will examine with much interest. Feels it would be very interesting to have a specimen of the soil found in the pockets of these coral islands. Would be pleased to see any rocks. Says all specimens of rocks are in Renard's hands, but that he will write and ask for them.
