TitleLetter from R[obert] Etheridge, British Museum (Natural History), Cromwell Road, London, to [Henry Bowman] Brady
Date31 January 1887
DescriptionApologizes for his delay in answering Brady's letter, and explainsit was due to him having been '"clearing up" both professionally and socially' before leaving for Sydney, New South Wales, where 'I hope to end my days'. Etheridge was going as a palaeontologist to the Department of Mines and Australian Museum. Would be glad if Brady were to send him any literature. Examined the Solomon Islands shells and agrees with Edgar Smith's opinion, but believes it is impossible to know them specifically until they know more details of other seas.
