DescriptionCouncil of the Royal Society are settling arrears of payments due from Fellows and have ordered Bentley's account to be made up. He is in debt for payments from Michaelmas 1712. According to an order of Council, if a payment is made to the Treasurer of £5 before 25 March, he will be entitled to be discharged from arrears and his bond delivered up and excused. The sum is trifling but is of consequence to the Royal Society.
