Description | Inform that the Council of the Royal Society heard with great regret that Rucker is unable to continue to act as a member of the Executive Committee of the National Physical Laboratory due to his ill health. Convey from the Council their gratitude for his great services to the Laboratory since its inception and his continued interest in its work and development. The Council feels that much of the success of the Laboratory is due to Rucker's guidance. Regret Rucker's poor health and hopes it will continue to improve. Hope that Lady Rucker will be relieved of her anxiety. |
