'I am desired by His Excellency to inform you that the Tea Party that was to be held at Raj Bhavan at 4.30 p.m. to-day is cancelled owing to the demise of His Majesty King George VI.
It is also to be noted by you that you are requested to take tea with His Excellency at Raj Bhavan at 5-15 p.m. on Monday, the 11th February, 1952' |
