TitleLetter from Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond and Duke of Aubigny, Goodwood, to Martin Folkes
Date7 February 1744
DescriptionIn the enclosed catalogue, no.33 is a complete set of armour. He would be glad to buy it, if it does not go above thirty or forty pounds. He believes that Folkes knows old armour well and asks him to bid. There are pictures of Oliver Cromwell and John Milton that he would like to have, lots 41 and 42, if not too large and around five or six pounds each. In a postscript, he enquires how Folkes's ear does.
