I had hoped to have a word wioth you from yesterday about the AAC. Mr Adams [?] is now full - time General Secretary, although he does not begin to draw his salary until September 1st. Mr Gent will take instructions from Mr Adams. Mr Adams is a very good fellow and I hope the new arrangement will not only be great for the work of the AAC but prove to be a great improvement from all points of view.
I'm off to Tuscany on business to-night and I hope to be back on Sunday.

PS. I hope to see eithee Mr Adams or Propfessor Singer to-night before I leave. I want Mr Adams to inform you concerning his proposed arrangments re holidays. ' |
