Description ' Your letter addressed to the Secretaries of the Royal Society, has just come into my hands, after the dispersal of the Council at the end of a long meeting. They will, however, be meeting again nextThursday, when your letter will be formally put before them. Meanw hile, I will take the personal responsibility of saying that I am sure that the Royal Society Council will very gladly grant the requests mentioned in your letter, to give facilities for the holding of Council and Executive Meetings of the AAC, and to continue the loan, for your own use, of the smaller of the two rooms now occupied by your organisation if, and when, the AA Council obtain elsewhere, enlarged accommodation for their growing needs.

The Royal Society Council will, I am sure, wish to reply, in due course, on their own behalf, to the kind acknowledgment in the eqarlier art of your letter. '
