DescriptionThanks him for his account of the stones Maskelyne had brought fromn Schehallien, Concerning a watermill for pounding limestone to manure the ground; refers to limestone on Schehallien of a particular sort; attending a meeting of the Committee of the Society to examine his new equatorial instruments which were not fit for purpose through neglect of Mr Sisson; Mr Ramsden will make them good if not constrained by fear of expense; hopes Rev Shepherd will be at the Council next Thursday where the Committee's report will be made.
