Description | Four letters from Geoffrey Eglinton to Professor Vinogradov spanning the years 1970-1972. Letters concern: a trip to Moscow in 1970 during which Eglinton met with Professor Vinogradov, the progress of Lunar research and the similarity of the research being carried out in Moscow and at University Bristol, and subsequent publications of work on lunar samples. The visit to Moscow appears to have been the initial impetus for requesting lunar samples from the USSR.
