TitleLetter from Horace Darwin, Abinger Hall, Dorking, to Charles Vernon Boys
Date8 November 1891
DescriptionDarwin has spoken with Sir Thomas [Farrer] who believes that the Law Debenture Corporation is a safe invsntment but one that will never pay high dividends, not above 6%. The Directors are able and hardworking, if cautious, because they are lawyers. Farrer's opinion of the City has fallen of late. Darwin thinks he will take a few shares and is influenced in this by Boys. Asks for more radio-micrometer circuits when Boys is ready.
