TitleLetter from Sir Oliver [Joseph] Lodge, FRS, The University of Birmigham, to James Mackenzie Davidson
Date12 June 1902
DescriptionNotes that he would be happy to propose Mackenzie Davidson for membership with the Society of Physical Research. Writes of a lady who was willing to give sittings, however, who has 'recently lost the power'. Promises to ask the Honorary Secretary of the S. P. R. [Society for Physical Research] if he knows of anybody suitable. Directs Mackenzie Davidson towards the latest Proceedings of the S. P. R. to read Professor Hyslop's report on Mrs Piper, which offers a breakdown of the continued-existence hypothesis. Notes that the Proceedings can be obtained on application to the Secretary.
