DescriptionWith reference to Duncombe's letters of 1 and 21 March [1887], Professor Thorpe is of the opinion that the reading microscope of the equatorial microscope of the telescope was lost at Grenada and that it cannot be recovered and he will undertake that the missing microscope shall be replaced without delay.
