DescriptionFoster has been asked on behalf of the President and Council of the Royal Society to draw up a letter expressing their regret that on the recent ocassion of presenting a humble address to Her Majesty they were not allowed to enjoy their old privilege of direct approach to the Royal Presence. He ask if it is His Lordship's desire that letters should be addressed to Her Majesty's Secretary of State for Home Affairs.
