DescriptionRix was not aware that the Franklin Institute were regular purchasers of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]'. There is no annual subscription for them. The 'Transasctions' are published at irregular intervals and at various prices. The parts which the Institute seems deficient in are 1883 part one to 1886 part two. The total cost for these will be £16-4-0.
