TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to John Scott Keltie, Royal Geographical Society, 1 Savile Row, W.
Date11 October 1894
DescriptionProfessor Michael Foster instructs Rix, in answer to Keltie's query, to say that he hopes the Council will authorize him at their first meeting on 25th October to write a letter on the Antarctic question stating what has been done by the Society. Rix thinks this will reach Keltie in time for their meeting in November. Rix fears the prospects of the Expedition are not very promising.
