Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir John Evans, Treasurer, Royal Society |
Date | 26 October 1894 |
Description | Mr Keen wants particulars of the property mortgaged to the Society by the Duke of Norfolk. Rix thinks the mortgage deeds are in the Society's possession and supposes the Society can only obtain these particulars by referring to the deed, if Evans will bring his key to the Society next Thursday.
Professor [William Augustus] Tilden has asked for a second copy of the 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' at the reduced price available to Fellows. Tilden gave his first copy to Mason College thinking he was going to be staying there. |
