Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to W B Keen, 3 Church Court, Old Jewry, E.C. |
Date | 30 October 1894 |
Description | In accordance with Keen's request, Rix is sending on the form to the Duke of Norfolk's Agent but as to completing the first coloum it would take quite 50 times the size of the the one Keen has sent. The Treasurer [John Evans] has left Rix with the mortgage deed so that Keen may have the specification of the property copied. The deed cannot of course leave the Society's office. The Treasurer thinks it is quite an unheard of demand that the income-tax Commissioners should require any such information. Rix is glad to find that the Treasurer does not mind at all about the Society not getting in the income-tax before the audit.
Any time after next Thursday the Society shall be glad to see Keen or his assistant to proceed with the accounts. |
