TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Horace White
Date11 December 1894
DescriptionAdverting to White's letter of 12th November, White does not seem to have understood the main point of the Society's objection to White's charge. The Society agreed to pay £5 per thousand slips but it is customary in such cases to pay upon the number of slips actually delivered ready for press. However, White has charged them on the numbers of slips before throwing out and combining.

It is not worth further discussing the matter as the Treasurer [John Evans] agrees to pay the balance of White's account and Rix incloses a cheque for £7. Asks for formal stamped receipt of the same.
