Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Harry Govier Seeley, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 21 September 1894 |
Description | Mr Collings has today brought four drawings which at Seeley's instruction were to wait at the Society for Seeley to call and see. These are the drawings from the three fossils which Seeley left Mr James on Monday. Rix does not understand what Seeley means by informing Collings that he has left additional fossils since then with Mr James. James has not been at the Society since Monday as he is away on holiday.
Collings is in a position to go on rapidly with the work if he can obtain sufficient material from Seeley. Collings' estimate is of course based on the assumption that the work is made as straightforward as possible. |
