| Description | The printers inform Rix that the volume of 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' for 1894 will equal in bulk those for 1893. Rix must decide at once whether to divide the volume or not. The Treasurer [John Evans] is distinctly in favour of doing so. Rix will keep the question open if he can until he hears Foster's reply but the next paper that is ready for issue must begin at page one if the parts are to be divided and, rather than delay publication, Rix shall act upon the Treasurer's decision if Foster has not replied by that date. |
