Title | Copy letter from Dr Michael Foster, to H W Primrose, 12 Whitehall Place, S.W. |
Date | 22 February 1895 |
Description | In reply to Primrose's letter of 19th February, Rix is directed by the President and Council to submit that the likelihood of the title 'The Incorporated Kew Committee of the Royal Society' to aggravate the confusion which already arises from the inaccurate use of the word 'Kew' seems to them most remote, and any change in the title could not be effected without inconvenience and some expense. They therefore trust thatt the First Commissioner will be able to see his way not to press the matter. |
