DescriptionThere are now three vacancies on the Foreign Member List, asks if he should circulate a printed list of names already in the book for this Council or the Council after.

Foster will want a Governor of Charterhouse in place of Mr Hulke.

Asks if there will be any report of the International Catalogue Committee.

Asks if the draft 'Challenger' letter is to be circulated before Council. Rix sends herewith emendations suggested by the Treasurer [John Evans] and Sir Joseph Hooker [not attached]. Asks for this letter back in a form which he can print for Council.

Rix has summoned Council for 2.30, if it ought to be 2pm they can send out a post-card.

Rix's mother has taken a decided turn for the better.
