Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster, Secretary, Royal Society |
Date | 10 May 1895 |
Description | On 1 April Rix wrote to Foster about Professor Edgeworth's paper and Foster answered that Dr [James Whitbread Lee] Glaisher, the third referee whose hands the paper has now been for 10 months, was away and nothing could be done. The author is naturally very angry as the Society has kept the paper nearly a year. Asks if Dr Glaisher is accessible yet.
Rix has not summoned Professors [Percy Faraday] Frankland and [Harry] Marshall Ward to the Water Research Committee and asks if he ought to do so. |
