DescriptionDr [Michael] Foster wishes Rix, in answer to Sclater's letter to him of the 3 June, to say that the Officers have this afternoon granted a card to be sent to Captain Lome, but the Science Masters of the public schools are invited to the May Soirée only and the Officers think it would not be advisable to make an exception in favour of Mr Whitcombe.
