TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mr Street, Office of Works, War Office, S.W.
Date5 April 1895
DescriptionOn 15th December Rix sent an order requesting the slates of the roof of the principal staircase might be replaced. The Treasurer [John Evans] has two or three times since called attention to the matter and though Rix has repeated the request no attention has yet been paid to it. As the ceilings run serious risk of damage, if this matter is not attended to, he shall have to communicate with Mr Taylor about the neglect.
