DescriptionAndreeff's letter to the Royal Academy of Sciences has eventually reached the Royal Society. The former does not exist and the communication went to several institutions before reaching them.

In reply to the letter the Russian manuscript was returned to Andreeff with a letter from the Royal Society stating that no communication could be received which was not presented by a Fellow, on 22 November 1894.
