|Title||Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Robarts, Lubbock & Company, 15 Lombard Street, E.C.|
|Date||24 September 1895|
|Description||On the 22nd and 23rd of March Messrs Prescott and Company paid the Messrs £4, the annual contribution of Dr Hughlings Jackson. This was not entered in the Society's pass-book, and the Society accordingly applied to Dr Jackson for payment. Messrs Prescott then communicated with the Messrs who admitted the error and promised to set it right. |
Apparently the error never was set right and the pass-book still shows no sum of £4 from Dr Jackson or from Messrs Presscott. Dr Jackson is now annoyed that the Society has applied to him a second time for a payment which ought to have been received from the Messrs last March.
Asks the Messrs to investigate and report how matters stand.
