| Description | On page 31 of the enclosed leaf [not attached] Shields will find a query marked which the Society cannot answer. They have compared the figure with Shields' manuscript and find them correctly printed but Shields will see that the total is wrong. If Shield refers to the duplicate proof in his possession he will see that the figures are referred to on the previous page and elsewhere but with the same error.
The press is stopped awaiting Shields' reply. |
