Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mrs Tyndall, Hindhead House, Haslemere |
Date | 22 October 1895 |
Description | Rix has been looking into the matter of the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' and finds that Professor Tyndall had them all down to 1886 part one. The executors are still entitled to receive, if they apply, the volumes for 1891-1894. The intermediate volumes are forfeited, but if they will be of use in her work, Rix does not think there would be any difficulty in obtaining a vote of Council to deliver them and they could of course lend her volumes at any time. |
