TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor W H [Walter Noel] Hartley, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date8 November 1895
DescriptionThe Society is proceeding with [Carl Johan] Lundstrom's paper. The engravers ask to be supplied with a negative or silver print of the spectrum plate. Asks if this can be obtained either from Hartley or Professor Lundstrom.

Rix is not sure if the illustration is done from an original photograph or from a photograph of a drawing; if the latter, perhaps a good shaded woodcut would serve the purpose. Asks to know Hartley's opinion on this.
