In answer to your note of the 17th inst. [instant] your "abstract" may be from 2 to 5 pages long (a page containing 400 words), but 5 pages is the outside limit. Please do not fail to let us have the manuscript by this week certain, as the paper is to be read next week & abstracts must be printed for use at the meeting.
