TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to William Turner Thiselton Dyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date6 January 1896
DescriptionRix sends thanks for Dyer's letter of 3 January containing corrections for the list of Fellows, but notes that some of them are political and such titles are not included. The corrections, largely not provided by the Fellows themselves, are numerous and Rix is sorry to have missed those named by Dyer.

He states that the list was recalled due to a much more serious error which was entirely the fault of the printers, as they chose to add to the press sheet as deceased a man who is living. They are reprinting at their own expense, but Rix has not been able to make the suggested corrections, as they were asked to reprint a "cancel" rather than the whole list.
