DescriptionIn response to their letter, Rix encloses a circular letter from the Royal Society to a number of scientific instituions worldwide; the report of the International Catalogue Committee; a letter from the Royal Society to the Marquis of Salisbury; and a letter to Mr Chamberlain. He states that these are all the documents they can supply for now but Rix may say that the British Government has taken up the matter in a friendly spirit and a number of countries and colonies have appointed delegates to attend the Conference being held this year.
