TitleCopy letter from Sir Joseph Lister, to the German Ambassador

DescriptionLister tells him that they were sorry that ill-health prevented the Ambassador from being present at the Anniversary Meeting of the Royal Society to receive the Copley Medal on behalf of Professor Karl Weierstrass. Lister explains that as the Society's Foreign Secretary, he received it in the Ambassador's absence and is now transmitting it to him.
