Description | Foster informs Trendell that his application, reference 'E.L.M./9479/96', for the loan of furniture from the Royal Society for an exhibition of furniture at Bethnal Green was presented at the Council's last meeting, and they have agreed to make the requested contributions. These will be available when Trendell sends for them: Sir Isaac Newton's chair; a chair presented by Sir Joseph Banks in 1750; Boyle Air-pump and carved stand.
The loan is made on the basis that the Science & Art Department take full responsibility for the carriage and safety of the articles lent for exhibition. |
