| Description | Rix presented Collings' note to the Officers of the Royal Society the previous day, and reports that while they agree it would be good if authors were to send drawings suitable for reproduction, they are not inclined to push the point or circulate Collings' memorandum. He states that Collings can get the authors' names from their publications, and then Rix would be willing to supply any particular addresses he wants.
Rix also encloses a note of introduction to Mr Herting, Assistant Secretary of the Linnean Society, as requested. |
