TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Arthur Mason Worthington, Fellow of the Royal Society, Sale Lodge, Sale, near Manchester
Date15 June 1896
DescriptionOn looking over the list of negatives Worthington has left for the illustrations to his paper, Harrison finds they exceed so largely in number those of which prints were originally sent in with the paper that, in order to get such series into one plate, it will be necessary to reduce them considerably in size, and the double process will add considerably to the cost sanctioned by the Council for the paper.

The estimates accepted were for nine plates of the ordinary 'Transactions [of the Royal Society]' size. Harrison must ask Worthington to make a selection of his illustrations, corresponding as closely as possible to the number originally sent in as he has no authority for proceeding with the paper at a greater cost than that sanctioned by Council.
