TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Herbert Rix, [Royal Society]
Date22 June 1896
DescriptionThe enclosed papers [not attached] refer to a matter which Harrison knew nothing about, namely the mission of Dr Armstrong as a lecturer of the Lawes Trust. Harrison calls Rix's attention to the fact that the American Ambassador in an offical letter to his Government described the Society's Treasurer as 'John Evans, Esq.'. Harrison does not know if Rix thinks it worth while to get the Ambassador to alter it.
