TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Victor Alexander Haden Horsley, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 June 1896
DescriptionThey have just seen Mr Edkins, the engraver of the figures in Horsley's paper. Regarding the correcting of the figures; one block will be re-engraved, about two others require corrections in which a double line has been cut instead of a single line. The engraver points out that he followed the copy. To rectify the engraver will have to re-engrave part of each block but he wishes to ask first if Horsley would be satisfied by his altering the two thin lines into one thick line, or by explaining the accidental doubling by means of a note in the text..

The engraver has returned the originals of the plate figures with descriptions, which Harrison will forward with the new proofs.
