TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to Sir Arthur Godley
Date18 October 1896
DescriptionAt the request of Mr Secretary Chamberlain the Royal Society has undertaken an enquiry into the Tsetse Fly disease in Africa.

The horse Surra disease in India is a closely allied malady if not really the same. This is being investigated officially by Dr Lingard. It has been stated that Lingard has completed his enquiry and finished his report. If so the Society would like to have access to the complete finished report, if it exists, as soon as possible.
