DescriptionRayleigh is directed by the President and Council of the Royal Society to request that Edwards would make known to Her Majesty the Queen that they recommend Sir Archibald Geikie FRS and Charles Vernon Boys FRS for the award of the Royal Medals for the present year, and he would be glad to know of Her Majesty's pleasure as regards this recommendation.
