Pending a meeting of the Council, which will not take place for some time, I am authorised by the Secretaries to give provisional permission for you to make a copy of your paper "On a New Method of determining Freezing Points". The copy must, however, be made here, as it is a strict rule that papers once deposited in the Archives are not allowed to leave the house.
