| Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Alex Brown, Zoological Laboratory, Marischal College, Aberdeen, North Britain |
| Date | 12 February 1897 |
| Description | Harrison states that he has sent out a circular relating to the reading of Brown's paper on Lineus.
Brown's letter of 8 February explains the absence from the register of his note on Salmon, which appears to have been a report to the Government Grant Committee, and as such he will have handed it to the Clerk to that Committee without looking at it. Both Harrison and Dr Michael Foster had previously interpreted his letter of 30 January to mean that the account of his own on the Salmon was to be a contribution to the Royal Society. Should he wish for the account to also be considered in that form, Harrison would be glad to hear from him on the subject. |
