TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to J Arnold Green, 56 Paternoster Row, E.C.
Date24 March 1897
DescriptionWith reference to Green's letter of the previous day, Fellowship of the Society is restricted to gentlemen of scientific attainments and it is therefore not possible for Mrs Rylands to become a Fellow.

The Society does not accept annual subscriptions for the Society's publications, but they should have no difficulty in obtaining them from the publishers. The 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' and the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]' can both be obtained from Messrs Harrison & Sons, St Martin's Lane, W.C. The 'Catalogue of Scientific Papers' can be obtained from Messrs Clay & Sons, Ave Maria Lane, E.C.. Harrison encloses a proof giving a list of the Society's various publications [not attached].
